The Apple Blossom School and Family Center was started by three Early Childhood teachers in an effort to offer Waldorf Education to families with young children. The philosophy of Apple Blossom School and Family Center is based on the pedagogy developed by Rudolf Steiner, which is common to Waldorf Schools throughout the world. Steiner stressed the importance of rich, imaginative play in a child's life. Our Early Childhood Programs support the healthy development of the young child's multiple intelligences and physical growth. The curriculum nurtures the imagination, an important aspect of thinking, through play, artistic activities, and language development with song, puppetry and story telling.

Apple Blossom is a developing member of WECAN, Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America. Our Waldorf Early Childhood programs include Parent/Toddler Classes, Nursery and Kindergarten. We also offer parenting workshops.
