Experience The Art of Waldorf: Form Drawing, Theater & Watercolor Painting
A Six Week Program for Children (ages 4-9)
Wednesday mornings 10:30am-2:30pm (Please bring a lunch)
Each week the children will have the opportunity to learn the practical aspects of the three different art forms included in the Waldorf curriculum. Each subject will be introduced in an age appropriate manner involving the children in the process from beginning to end. Thereby, nourishing their inborn creativity and bringing it to expression. This program will also include story time, snack (provided), lunch (please send a lunch with your child) and opportunities for indoor and outdoor play to satisfy the need to socialize with peers and foster imagination and creativity.

January 11th - February 15th
Form Drawing, Theater and Watercolor Painting

February 29th-April 4th
Handwork, Puppetry & Watercolor Painting

Session 3:
April 25th - May30th
Music, Eurythmy & Watercolor Painting

Program fee for each six week session: $210
Partial scholarships available

THE FACULTY

Jessica Khoshabo a trained Waldorf Early Childhood teacher and mother of two, has been teaching at the Apple Blossom School since its inception in 2004. Jessica strives to create an environment that supports each child at their stage of development, fostering creativity through art and imaginative play.

Kim Carr is the co-Family Center Coordinator at The Apple Blossom School and Family Center, and the creator of Waldorf-At-Home at The Housatonic Valley Waldorf School, a course for homeschoolers, parents and teachers who wish to bring Waldorf impulses into their homes or classrooms. Kim holds a BA in English with a concentration in Writing from the University of Pennsylvania and is a candidate for an MEd in Waldorf Education from Antioch New England. She has been a member of Waldorf-inspired puppetry troupes for over ten years, founded a theater company in her earlier year and continues to teach acting to grade school students and teens.

Nigel Harrison, a trained Eurythmist and teacher at the three Connecticut Waldorf schools, has taught Eurythmy since 2002. In addition he is now completing his Therapeutic Eurythmy training. Nigel has taught children from pre-school age through 8th grade and finds the art of Eurythmy essential to help develop healthy and harmonious social capacities as the child grows towards adulthood.
