for children aged 3 - 7 years

Teepees & Drums

(view or print pdf brochure)

Each week, we will explore together the wonderful
cultures of Native American tribes. Through building, gardening, circle games, cooking, and more, we will get to know these earliest Americans. A flowing, gentle rhythm, responsive to the openness of the summer will guide the children through the day. We will spend time outdoors and indoors. A mid-morning snack will be provided and the day will end with lunch and story. Please provide lunch, including water, for your child in an insulated lunch bag with an ice pack. Please apply sunscreen and bug repellent to your children at home and bring sunhats, swimsuits and towels.

Instructor
The Apple Blossom Summer program will be led by Jessica Khoshabo, one of Apple Blossom’s full-time teachers with Waldorf certification. The program will offer the children a true-to-form Waldorf experience: nourishing their physical development and striving for truth, beauty and goodness in the class environment.
