Summer Camp 2020 Nature Program
Let's Get Back Outside Together!
Ages 2-7 years*
Give your child a Waldorf Experience this summer -- Immersive time in nature, imaginative play, and a gentle, summer rhythm that nourishes children's heads, hearts and hands.
This summer we will explore the cultures of Native American tribes with an alternating curriculum every two weeks, Teepees & Drums (Weeks 1 & 2 and Weeks 5 & 6) and Bugs & Birds (Weeks 3 & 4 and Weeks 7 & 8). Come explore nature and the cultures of local Native American tribes!
Weekly Activities include building, gardening, cooking, puppetry, watercolor painting, crafts, circle games, drumming and plenty of free play. A flowing gentle rhythm will guide the children through the day. The day will end with lunch (brought from home) and story.
*Children who will not be three by Dec 2020 should have been previously enrolled in a drop-off program at Apple Blossom School and Family Center
Weekly Sessions: June 29th-August 21st
WE ARE FULL!
Check back next year.
This Summer Program will be led by Jessica Khoshabo and Allison Reznik, lead Waldorf Early Childhood teachers, at the Apple Blossom School. The program will offer the children a true-to-form Waldorf experience: nourishing their physical development and striving for truth, beauty and goodness in the class environment
A note on health: We will be opening our doors with some new Health and Safety Procedures to keep our families safe and limit the spread of COVID-19. Please review our Parent Update and Daily Health Screening Tool. Guidelines are subject to change as State regulations change.
