Summer Camp 2022 Nature Program

Ages 18 months-7 years
*Our summer program is for children who have been previously enrolled in a drop off program.
Nursery, Ages: 18 months - 3 years
Kindergarten, Ages: 3 - 7 years

Give your child a true Waldorf Experience this summer -- Immersive time in nature, imaginative play, and a gentle, summer rhythm that nourishes children's heads, hearts and hands.
This summer we will explore the cultures of Native American tribes with an alternating curriculum every two weeks between, Teepees & Drums and Bugs & Birds. Come explore nature and the cultures of local Native American tribes!
Weekly Activities include building, gardening, cooking, puppetry, watercolor painting, crafts, circle games, drumming and plenty of free play. A flowing gentle rhythm will guide the children through the day. The day will end with lunch (brought from home) and story.

INSTRUCTORS
This Summer Program will be led by Jessica Khoshabo and Allison Reznik, lead Waldorf Early Childhood teachers, at the Apple Blossom School. The program will offer the children a true-to-form Waldorf experience: nourishing their physical development and striving for truth, beauty and goodness in the class environment

Requirements
Please provide lunch, including water for your child in an insulated lunch bag with an ice pack. Please apply sunscreen and bug repellent to your child at home. A sunhat is mandatory. Light rain pants, rain boots, and closed toed sturdy shoes are suggested, as we play outside in all weather.
Classes contingent upon enrollment of 5 or more children per week. No drop-ins please - sign up before the week begins.
