Viktoria Dudar

Viktoria brings a rich international perspective, a deep love for children, and a heartfelt dedication to holistic education to the Apple Blossom community. Her journey into Waldorf education began with the birth of her two children, Elias and Solomia. In searching for an educational home for them, she discovered that the Waldorf approach beautifully mirrored her own childhood in Ukraine—one defined by a rhythmic connection to nature, meaningful handwork, and lifelong social bonds.

Viktoria has a lifelong passion for learning. She graduated with a B.A. in Foreign Language and Literature (English and German) from the Ternopil Experimental Institute of Pedagogical Studies in Ukraine. After moving to the United States, she earned a Teaching Assistant Certificate from Westchester Community College. She went on to complete her Master of Arts in Language and Literacy at the City College of New York, where she was honored with the prestigious Marilyn Sternglass Overall Merit Award.

Professionally, Viktoria spent nearly a decade as an educator within the CUNY system, at the City College of New York, at LaGuardia Community College, and at the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies. Working with adult learners, she saw firsthand how constructivist, inquiry-based, and student-centered pedagogies could transform lives, helping students reclaim their innate curiosity. This experience solidified her conviction that education must be meaningful and holistic from the very beginning.

Since her own children entered the Waldorf Rose Classroom at age three, Viktoria has used the Waldorf framework to anchor her family’s home life. Now transitioning from full-time caregiving back into the professional realm, she is thrilled to bring these lived practices into the Apple Blossom classroom. She is deeply committed to supporting the classroom's daily "breath-in, breath-out" rhythm, serving as a living example for the children through gentle authority, and nurturing their development through the domestic and artistic crafts of early childhood. Viktoria is honored to contribute to the "living curriculum" that has given so much to her own family.
